Column protection keeps hall columns, rack uprights and pillars safe from collision damage by forklifts, pallet trucks and cars – and also protects vehicle and driver. This category offers yellow polyethylene column protection for warehouses, production, car parks and underground garages: half shells with hook-and-loop straps, a modular system for columns from 200 × 200 to 300 × 300 mm, a cut-to-size version, red-white reflective guards for outdoor use and impact profiles for corner and round columns. Most models are fitted around the column without drilling. We supply commercial customers and public authorities only; prices are net.

Choosing the right size
Measure the edge length or diameter of the column and choose the next larger model. For rectangular columns, a modular guard with interlocking elements is the best fit. For taller vehicles or raised loads, the guard can be extended with an extension element and a 4 m strap.
Plastic instead of steel
Polyethylene column protection is light, needs no floor anchoring and leaves no drill holes when moved. It cushions impacts and protects column, vehicle and load. Where impact forces are very high, a steel impact protection hoop or corner guard can be added.
Marking
In Germany, columns on traffic routes are obstacles that must be clearly marked in accordance with ASR A1.3; yellow colour and red-white warning stripes make the column visible from a distance. The measures required follow from the risk assessment.
