The textile materials impregnated with flame retardant comply with the fire test requirements according to European and international standards EN ISO 6941 for textile materials. Furthermore, treated materials for aircraft meet fire test requirements of European and American regulations according to JAR (FAR) § 25.853 (materials for aviation).
Technical Description of the Offered Flame Retardant
Our offered flame retardants consist of phosphorus and nitrogen salt solutions. Their effectiveness varies depending on the treated materials, with various surfactants such as anionic, cationic, amphoteric, non-ionic surfactants or combinations thereof added. These flame retardants are suitable for treating hydrophilic and hydrophobic porous polymers, providing versatility across different materials with varying physical and chemical properties.
The effectiveness of the flame retardant is based on the synergistic interaction between its phosphorus and nitrogen components. Even in small quantities, the product exhibits significant flame retardant effect when applied to porous polymers. Moreover, the flame retardant is pH-neutral, making it non-corrosive and non-irritating.
The neutral pH of the flame retardant solution contributes to stability during storage, even under freezing conditions, and ensures chemical stability over time. Additionally, the halogen-free composition of the flame retardant eliminates the formation of halogen gases during combustion, thus meeting safety and environmental protection objectives.
