Anti-Biofilm Tablets
Condensate drain tablets protect refrigerated shelves from biofilm and sludge buildup for 12 months. The Gel-Clear QP34 tablet is effective for up to 12 months and is easily placed in the condensate tray. There, it dissolves slowly, forming a protective layer that prevents the growth of biofilm and deposits. Thanks to its odor-preventing formula, the environment remains fresh and hygienic. The tablets coat all surfaces with a long-lasting, antibacterial coating called "Gel-clear," which prevents biofilm and corrosion on the coil and tray. It also ensures that any remaining biofilm in the drains is broken down. Gel-Clear is NSF-certified and safe for use in food refrigerated display cases/shelf units, making it an ideal choice for the food service and retail industries, and therefore perfectly suited for use in food processing areas and condensate pumps. Customer tests in the retail sector show high savings potential through fewer maintenance visits and less need for spare parts. Blocked condensate drains cause damage that is expensive to repair and requires regular maintenance. Biofilm is the primary cause of these blockages, as well as the failure of condensate pumps. A study conducted with a supermarket chain of 300 stores showed that reducing maintenance/service calls, decreasing the number of defective fan motors (and pumps), and reducing the consumption of absorbent strips resulted in annual savings of approximately €800,000. With annual costs of only around €90,000 for Gel-clear condensate drain tablets, this yields a return on investment (ROI) of 779%. The operations manager stated: “Gel-clear tablets have proven to be the perfect solution for reducing water leaks in the contracts we manage, as they, combined with our standard operating procedure (SOP), led to a 68% reduction in leaks. From a health and safety perspective, the tablets are also the perfect product for us due to their environmental friendliness.” In another product test conducted in a single branch of a well-known Australian retailer, annual cost savings of approximately €28,000 (plus savings on spare parts) were achieved. Before the introduction of the cleaning tablets for the condensate drain, 132 maintenance visits were required annually, costing approximately €215 per visit. During the six-month test phase, no maintenance visits were necessary, and the total cost of the cleaning tablets was less than €250. The anti-biofilm tablets are suitable for all types of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and cooling systems with condensate drain. When using these tablets, it is important that they come into contact with moving water. The anti-biofilm tablets are versatile and ideally suited for all types of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems that require effective condensate drainage. They thus contribute to improved system and energy efficiency. Using these tablets prevents the formation and adhesion of biofilms, which not only increases hygiene in the systems but also extends the service life of the equipment. Heat pumps typically also have a condensate drain. Here are some important points about it: Condensation process: In heat pumps, water vapor is often generated during the cooling or heating process, which condenses when cooled. This typically occurs in the evaporator or heat exchanger. Condensate drain: The condensate produced must be drained to prevent blockages and water accumulation, which can lead to damage or mold growth. Therefore, many heat pumps have an integrated condensate drain system. Drainage methods: Condensate can be drained via a drain pipe or hose that directs the water to a suitable drainage point, such as a drain or into the garden. In some cases, a pump may also be necessary to remove the condensate, especially if the drain is located higher than the heat pump. Maintenance: It is important to regularly check and clean the condensate drain to ensure it is free of blockages that could lead to backflow or other problems. Antistatic Spill Containment Tray
Antistatic Folding Tray, designed for collecting, transporting, or short-term storage of hazardous substances as well as petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel, machine oil, and hydraulic oil, etc. Made from special antistatic film, which due to its conductivity is suitable for use in environments with increased explosion hazards.
