Grounding Cable

The grounding cables with the corresponding snaps provide additional protection in situations where anti-static, ESD or conductive mats are required to protect sensitive electronic equipment or to prevent potentially hazardous situations caused by fumes or explosive dust. This works through a conductive insert and an approximately 4.5 m long cable directly from the mat to a grounded element in the environment. This additional precaution is not necessary if the floor covering is already grounded. However, if this is not the case, we recommend installing one grounding cable every 5-6 m² of mat. Cables and snaps can be used to enhance the performance of all our conductive, ESD or anti-static mats. They can be integrated as part of the original mat or installed on-site within the company using simple instructions.
