Separation Strips for Bicycle Paths
Product information "Separation Strips for Bicycle Paths"
Tactile cycle path slabs made of concrete
Tactile concrete cycle path slabs set new standards in accessible transport planning. They serve as separating strips between cycle paths and footpaths , ensure clear orientation and increase safety on transport routes.
The tactile surface offers optimal feel and signals changes of direction, transitions, or hazards. Made of robust concrete, these slabs are weather-resistant and durable. They can be easily integrated into existing infrastructure and are available in various sizes and colors. Perfect for sustainable mobility concepts in urban and rural areas!
The cycle path slabs serve as ground indicators for demarcating level traffic areas in public traffic areas according to the recommendation of the DBSV, in accordance with DIN TS 15 209, DIN 32 984 and Ril 813.02.
The upper surface has usable areas with an asymmetrical height profile, while the sidewalk side has a ribbed structure.
Material: Fiber-reinforced concrete C45/55 XF4 (abrasion class 4, tested according to DIN 52108) on core concrete C30/37 XF2, frost and de-icing salt resistant
Lay the top edge of the slab flush with the adjacent floor covering, with joints > 3 mm, in a professional manner.
Length x Width: 745 x 300 mm
Height: 80 - 105 mm
Available colors: White, Yellow, Anthracite or Concrete Grey
Accessible, rollable concrete curb ramps
Whether used as visual markers on sidewalks and bike paths or as step-free ramps in public spaces, these elements optimize orientation and comfort for all users. Through innovative designs that combine durability and ease of maintenance, dividing strips and ramps contribute significantly to sustainable and safe traffic design.
The rollable curb or zero-level curb offers an innovative, barrier-free solution for step-free transitions between traffic areas. With a curb height of just 3 cm, it allows for effortless rollover, providing maximum comfort, especially for wheelchair users, walker users, and other people with reduced mobility. Lowering the crossing area to road level creates a seamless transition that is supported both visually and tactilely. An integrated barrier with a ribbed structure provides additional safety in the zero-level area, ensuring optimal guidance for blind and visually impaired people. This concept is complemented by matching transition stones that guarantee a harmonious connection to adjacent areas, thus contributing to a safe and inclusive traffic space.
