This 13 mm thick anti-fatigue mat made of high-density, closed-cell nitrile rubber has an anti-microbial treatment according to the manufacturer and can be sterilised in an autoclave (temperature, holding time and number of cycles as specified by the manufacturer), washed in a commercial dishwasher or commercially laundered. It is recommended for wet or dry commercial and industrial settings and is therefore particularly common in healthcare facilities.

Cleaning and care
The mat can be cleaned in four ways: commercial laundering (manufacturer's formula: flush cold 2–3 minutes, wash 5–10 minutes at 60 °C, rinse cold twice for 2 minutes, drain 2 minutes; no extracting or drying required, then lay flat and allow to cool), sterilisation in an autoclave (temperature, holding time and number of cycles as specified by the manufacturer), washing in a commercial dishwasher (please check your local health regulations), or by hand: scrub with a deck brush and pH-neutral detergent, rinse with a hose or pressure washer and hang to dry. Only put the mat back into service once it is completely dry.

Can the mat be sterilised in an autoclave?
Yes. Besides autoclave sterilisation (temperature, holding time and number of cycles as specified by the manufacturer), it can be commercially laundered, washed in a commercial dishwasher or scrubbed by hand.
Is the mat suitable for welding workstations?
According to the manufacturer, the mat is welding safe. Separately, its flammability has been tested to the US test method DOC-FF-1-70.
