Foldable Construction Site Stairs

The foldable construction site stairs are designed as temporary access routes to provisionally bridge individual floor levels, provide access to excavations, or overcome steep slopes.

Features of the Foldable Construction Staircase

  • Entry steps are bent to ensure a secure foothold.
  • Available in 6 different lengths and two tread widths: 700 mm and 1000 mm.
  • The handrails automatically adjust to the correct height according to the incline angle of the stairs.
  • The folding mechanism of the foldable construction stair facilitates handling, transport, and storage.
  • Manufactured according to DIN EN 12811 with CE marking.
  • Finish: hot-dip galvanized.

Available variants:

  • Tread width 700 mm: 4 steps (height 510-835 mm), 7 steps (height 920-1505 mm), 10 steps (height 1320-2160 mm), 13 steps (1725-2825 mm), 16 steps (height 2130-3490 mm = construction stair 3 m) and 19 steps (2525-4155 mm = construction stair 3 m and 4 m)
  • Tread width 1000 mm: only with 16 steps (height 2130-3490 mm)

General and Safety Instructions: Before starting assembly, it is important to carry out a thorough risk assessment and comply with national occupational safety regulations. The construction stairs are designed according to the regulations and provide protection against crushing and trapping hazards as well as against unintended release.

Maximum Load and Height: The maximum load of the stairs and their components must not be exceeded (105 kg/m²). Also ensure to comply with the maximum bridgable height for each construction stair to guarantee safety and stability. An intermediate platform must be arranged after every 3 – 5 m on construction stairs.

Anti-slip Surface and Good Visibility: The stair treads have an anti-slip surface and are visually well noticeable to prevent accidents, especially under poor lighting conditions.

Assembly Instructions: The assembly instructions are easy to follow and guide you step by step through the stair installation. From securing components to fixing the ceiling attachment, providing clear instructions for safe installation.

Observe Safety Regulations: We strongly recommend reading and following all safety regulations and instructions carefully to avoid accidents. Always secure yourself while using the stairs and comply with the legal requirements.
