Especially in confined spaces such as underground garages and multi-story car parks, in tunnels or on car ferries , and also on highways or country roads, sufficient extinguishing water is not always available in this quantity. Even larger fire engines in Germany, for example, only carry 4,000 litres of water.

After the fire has been extinguished, an electric car must be placed in a water-filled cooling basin for several days to prevent it from reigniting.

Note: Suitable for fires in combustion engine and lithium battery-powered vehicles. The fire blanket can withstand very high temperatures but is sensitive to sharp objects and rough handling. Therefore, the blanket must be installed carefully and without harsh, jerky movements.
