This indoor/outdoor entrance mat uses a bi-level design to hold dirt and moisture below shoe level, so it is not tracked into the building. The needle-punched, solution-dyed surface of recycled PET fibre dries quickly, and the nubs are reinforced with rubber to resist crushing. According to the manufacturer, the PVC-free nitrile rubber backing is resistant to common de-icing salts and ice melt.

Cleaning and care
The mat can be commercially laundered (at 49 °C, no drying required); afterwards lay it flat and, if dried in a dryer, let it cool before rolling. In daily use, vacuum regularly – daily in high-traffic areas, weekly in lower-traffic areas. Remove heavy soil with an extractor or hose it off as needed. Hang to dry and make sure the mat is dry before putting it back in place.

Can the mat be used outdoors?
Yes. The PET face is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, and according to the manufacturer the rubber backing resists common de-icing salts and ice melt.
What are the rubber-reinforced nubs for?
The reinforcement gives the nubs high dimensional stability even under load, so the mat keeps trapping dirt and moisture and lasts longer.
Is the mat washable?
Yes, it can be commercially laundered at 49 °C. Alternatively, vacuum it, use an extractor or hose it off.
