Assembly and Cutting Service for FRP Grating

The following options / accessories / services for the gratings made of fiber-reinforced plastic are offered:
1) Cutting
2) Grated or closed surfaces as panels or laminate sheets (available in thicknesses from 3 to 10 mm)
3) Fastening materials (such as clips and washers) and angle frames
4) Adjustable supporting feet
5) Assembly service
6) Made of special resins, e.g., highly acid- or alkali-resistant for extremely aggressive environments, particularly fire-retardant with self-extinguishing resins

What are the advantages of FRP gratings?

1. A high mechanical load-bearing capacity comparable to steel.
2. A very long service life, with absolute corrosion resistance and resistance to aging.
3. Almost complete maintenance-free operation.
4. Optimal occupational safety, even in the harshest environments (greases, oils, and wax) thanks to the non-slip, integrated grit surface that remains durable throughout the entire service life (R13-V10 according to DIN 51130).
5. Low intrinsic weight (50% less weight compared to equally load-bearing metal gratings): this means ease of installation and handling of the material, resulting in cost savings.
6. The anti-magnetic and electrically insulating properties (or alternatively also conductive / ATEX compliant available)
7. The FRP gratings are fire retardant according to EN 13501-1 as Bfl-s1 tested.

As an alternative to custom-made FRP gratings, we also offer custom-made gratings for industry and shipbuilding made of steel.
