Slip-on Arm Sleeve as Cut and Heat Protection for the Arms
The arm sleeve meets the stringent standards for protective gloves and ensures your safety. It complies with the standard EN ISO 21420:2020 for general requirements and test methods for protective gloves, the standard EN 388:2016+A1:2018 for protective gloves against mechanical risks, and the standard EN 407:2020 for protective gloves and other hand protection equipment against thermal risks (heat and/or fire).
The performance levels of the arm sleeve according to EN 388:2016+A1:2018 are as follows: abrasion resistance (level 2), cut resistance Coup Test (level 4), tear resistance (level 2), and puncture resistance (level 2). The cut resistance in the TDM B test also meets the requirements. Additionally, the arm sleeve meets the requirements according to EN ISO 13997 with a strength of 8.8 N (Newton) against large quantities of molten metal.
Our knitted arm sleeve is carefully packaged to ensure its quality. Each sleeve is equipped with a label on the hem containing basic information about the EU conformity mark and the general requirements for gloves. Ten pairs are packed together with the manufacturer information in German in a PE bag. For larger orders of 100 pairs, we use a sturdy carton weighing approximately 15 kg.
To ensure the durability of the arm sleeve, please observe the following notes: The sleeves are suitable for work in environments where there is a risk of scratches, abrasions, or cuts. They must not exceed the specified value for contact heat according to Class 1 of the standard EN 407:2020. In case of notching, tearing, abrasion, or excessive contamination, the sleeves lose their functional properties. They are not resistant to soaking and should not be used in situations where there is a risk of entanglement with moving parts of machines. If no flame retardancy is declared, the arm sleeves must not come into contact with open flames. The protection type applies only to the complete product with all layers.
