Where are warning signs for road installations used?
Information signs for utility facilities point to (among others, street caps) utility facilities and pipelines such as underground hydrants or shut-off valves for water supply, wastewater disposal and gas, district heating lines.
For example, gas network operators/municipal utilities are required to mark all buildings with a warning sign if their gas connection line contains a shut-off valve. This shut-off device allows the gas supply to the building to be quickly interrupted without excavation work in the event of an uncontrolled gas leak. This ensures the safety of the residents, neighbors, and surrounding buildings.
The fire department can also use these signs and symbols to quickly find the nearest hydrant for firefighting water .

* Scope of the 15-year manufacturer's warranty: The warranty covers the legibility of the colored lettering, functionality, break resistance, and colorfastness of signs under normal use and weather conditions. The warranty begins on the date clearly marked on the sign and covers the replacement of defective material. The warranty does not cover damage caused by vandalism, fire, impact, shock, improper installation or subsequent modification of the products, damage caused by use for a purpose other than intended, or slight color fading due to UV exposure.
