Non-slip, IMO-Certified Stair Treads
For stairs exposed to oil, water, ice, grease, or chemicals, this GRP tread is an optimal solution for both indoor and outdoor stairs. The treads are offered in two different mesh sizes and two different lengths and widths (other widths available):

The stair treads are made from our well-known, Europe-produced fiberglass, ensuring a well-documented product of extremely high quality and durability. Silicon carbide grit is encapsulated in the surface of the glass fiber reinforced plastic providing optimal friction. These are additionally IMO-certified. Depending on the requirement, they can even be delivered in two different mesh sizes to minimize the risk of small objects falling through.
Fiberglass Stair Treads Offer Many Advantages Compared to Steel
- Treads made from fiberglass are 100% maintenance-free.
- Fiberglass stair treads are as strong as steel gratings and can be replaced one-to-one (same height).
- Fiberglass treads weigh only about one third of steel treads.
- Fiberglass stairs are ergonomic to walk and stand on, as they are flexible.
- Corrosion does not occur.
- Fiberglass gratings can be cut on-site without any post-processing.
- The treads are available with our well-known anti-slip surface.
- Due to the yellow non-slip stair edges, they are, for example, more visible during dusk or bad weather at sea.
