Tactile Ribs as Floor Indicators for Floor Guidance Systems Made of Colored Plastic and Self-Adhesive
Available Versions of tactile plastic ribs: Self-adhesive, without adhesive, with pins
For the self-adhesive variant, there are different adhesives depending on the application / substrate.
Ribs "without adhesive" can be glued during installation with a liquid adhesive adapted to the substrate.
Tactile ribs with pins are installed by drilling holes into the floor and then bonding them with polyester resin. This installation method is particularly recommended for outdoor use, uneven substrates, or high loads.

Tactile ribs in widths of 10 mm (recommended for indoor use), 15 mm (recommended for outdoor use), 25 mm and 35 mm, each with a length of 295 mm
Available heights: 3.3 mm (indoor) and 5 mm (outdoor, as more perceptible)
Please note that tactile floor markings can pose a tripping/accident hazard (among others for pedestrians, cyclists, inline skaters, roller skaters, and wheelchair users), especially on bike paths, stair areas, and with longitudinal grooves.
Furthermore, the ribs do not fully comply with DIN 32984: 2020-12.

Other colors / special colors and transparent elements available on request. For visually impaired persons, a strong color contrast to the substrate is especially important.
