Tactile Floor Indicators as Guideline System Made of Colored Plastic and Self-Adhesive
Offered versions of the tactile plastic studs: Self-adhesive, without adhesive, with pin
For the self-adhesive version, there are different adhesives depending on the application / substrate.
Studs "without adhesive" can be glued during installation with a liquid adhesive adapted to the substrate.
Tactile studs with pins are installed by drilling holes into the floor and then glued with polyester resin. This installation method is especially recommended for outdoor areas, uneven substrates, or high stress loads.

Tactile studs with diameters 25 mm, 30 mm, 35 mm
Available heights: 3.3 mm, 5 mm (5 mm is recommended as it is better perceptible, especially outdoors)
Consumption per 30 x 30 cm when using 30 mm studs with orthogonal layout: 36 studs, diagonal layout: 50 studs
For the number of studs per attention field and color selection, the following standards must especially be observed:
- DIN 32984:2020-12: Floor indicators in public spaces
- DIN 18040-3: Barrier-free construction in public traffic and open spaces
- DIN 32975 - Contrasts in public spaces
- H BVA (FGSV guidelines for barrier-free traffic facilities)
Standard colors:
- Yellow / Signal yellow RAL 1003
- Ivory RAL 1014
- Red / Signal red RAL 3001
- Blue / Signal blue RAL 5005
- Gray / Signal gray RAL 7004
- Dark gray / Slate gray RAL 7015
- Light gray / Light gray RAL 7035
- Black / Signal black RAL 9004
Other colors / special colors and transparent elements available on request. For visually impaired people, a strong color contrast to the substrate is particularly important.
Offered shapes / surfaces: Flat truncated cone, truncated cone with lines, truncated cone with studs (especially recommended for outdoor use), dome shape
Material: Polyurethane (PU)
Flame retardant (Bfl-s1 according to EN ISO 9239-1)
Slip-resistant (R11)
