Shelf labels are an essential part of any warehouse. They help with organization and quickly locating goods and products. How are shelf labels applied?

Shelf labels are usually applied as self-adhesive (alternatively magnetic is also possible). They are simply stuck on the desired shelf and are immediately ready for use. It is important that the shelf is clean (especially grease-free) and free of dust and dirt before applying the shelf labels to ensure good adhesion. There are special sprays for degreasing and cleaning to pretreat the adhesive surfaces.

For high pallet racks, it is ideally necessary to use a movable work platform or a mobile scissor lift for application.

How long do shelf labels last?

The lifespan of shelf labels depends on various factors, such as the materials they are made of and the frequency of use. In general, however, self-adhesive shelf labels last a very long time if applied correctly and made of durable materials. For special stresses, e.g., with forklifts, there are labels with protective laminate or polycarbonate (PC) labels.

Can I have my own barcodes printed?

Yes, you can have your own labels with custom barcodes printed by us.

Which materials are suitable for shelf labels?

The most commonly used materials for shelf labels are plastic. Plastic labels are durable and well suited for frequently used shelves or warehouses with higher demand.

Can I design shelf labels myself?

Yes, you can design shelf labels yourself with us. You can, for example, adjust the font, numbering, color, and size, and even add your own logo or other graphics. However, it is important that the shelf labels are clearly legible and meet the requirements of a professional warehouse organization.
