Product information "WATCO Chemi-Coat Kalttrocknend – cold-curing chemical-resistant epoxy floor coating"
Chemi-Coat Kalttrocknend (sold in the UK as Chemi-Coat Cold Cure) is the version of WATCO's chemical-resistant epoxy floor coating for unheated buildings, chilled areas and winter work. Where standard epoxies struggle to cure at low temperatures, this formula can be applied from a floor temperature of 5 °C according to the product data and develops the same chemical resistance as the original.
One thick coat of the 2-pack epoxy with 100% solids usually gives a hard, glossy, easy-clean surface that can also be used on walls. Suitable substrates are concrete, screed, well-bonded existing coatings and some metals; prime very porous surfaces with an epoxy primer first. The coating is low-odour and rated for light to heavy traffic.
Typical applications

- Chemical stores and bunds
- Floors and walls in chemically exposed areas
Features
- Can be applied from 5 °C floor temperature
