Chemi-Coat Säureresistent (sold in the UK as Chemi-Coat Acid Strength) is the version of WATCO's Chemi-Coat range for floors where concentrated acids are handled. According to the manufacturer, the modified formula withstands sulphuric acid up to 98% – relevant in battery charging rooms, at filling stations or in bunds for acid containers.
The virtually solvent-free 2-pack epoxy with 100% solids is applied in one thick coat and cures to a smooth, glossy surface that wipes clean easily. Suitable substrates are concrete, screed, well-bonded existing coatings and some metals; porous substrates need an epoxy primer first.

For general chemical exposure without strong acids, standard Chemi-Coat is usually sufficient.
Note for bunds and containment areas: installations handling water-polluting substances may require specific regulatory approvals (in Germany under the AwSV). No such approval is implied for this product; please check your installation's requirements and the chemical resistance before use.
