Product information "WATCO Concrex Asphalt-Reparatur – epoxy repair mortar for heavily trafficked asphalt"
Concrex Asphalt-Reparatur (sold in the UK as Concrex Asphalt Repair) is WATCO's epoxy repair mortar for asphalt and tarmac areas used by forklifts, narrow-wheeled pallet trucks or HGVs. Many standard asphalt patching materials stay slightly soft and get pushed back down under these loads. According to the manufacturer the cured epoxy mortar withstands heavy traffic and is strong enough to anchor guide posts and rails.
The 2-pack resin is mixed with the supplied granite aggregate into an open-textured black mortar whose coarse finish blends in well with existing asphalt. Its strength also allows relatively shallow repairs. Rough holes and cracks need no primer; on smooth substrates WATCO recommends its bonding primer. Suitable for asphalt and concrete, indoors and outdoors.
