Product information "WATCO Concrex Carbon Fibre – carbon fibre reinforced epoxy repair mortar"
Concrex Carbon Fibre is WATCO's epoxy repair mortar for potholes, spalling and damaged edges in concrete floors that carry forklifts and heavy loads. According to the manufacturer, light traffic can return after about one hour and heavy traffic after 4–5 hours, so the area is not out of action for days.
The mortar is reinforced with carbon fibre and ceramic and has a high resin content. That lets you feather it out to nothing as well as fill to depths of 50 mm. It bonds to concrete, metal and masonry and cures to a granite-hard, impervious, non-dusting surface that is chemical resistant and slip resistant.
Typical applications
- Holes and breakouts in warehouse and factory floors
- Slab edges, joint arrises and step nosings
- Ramps and transitions indoors and outdoors
Features
- 2-pack epoxy reinforced with carbon fibre and ceramic
- Compressive strength 55.2 MN/m², tensile strength 15.4 MN/m² (typical manufacturer data)
- Can be feather-edged, no top coat needed
- Curing agent in separate bottles, so part packs can be mixed
