Product information "WATCO Concrex Cold Set – epoxy repair mortar for low temperatures"
Concrex Cold Set is WATCO's epoxy repair mortar for floor damage that has to be fixed in the cold. According to the manufacturer it cures at floor temperatures down to 0 °C, so holes, breakouts and broken joints in cold stores, unheated warehouses or outdoor areas can be repaired all year round without waiting for warmer weather.
The formula contains novolac resin, which the manufacturer says gives improved resistance to chemicals, solvents and temperature changes. Thanks to its high resin content, the mortar can be feather-edged and used up to 50 mm thick. It cures granite-hard, waterproof and non-dusting and bonds to concrete, metal, brick and masonry.
