WATCO Epoxid-Asphalt-Reparatur Tiefenfüller (sold in the UK as Bitu-Mend Deep Fill) is designed for deep potholes and breakouts in asphalt and concrete that standard patching materials can only fill in several layers. It is placed 15 to 200 mm thick in a single operation and, according to the manufacturer, delivers high strength throughout the full depth of the repair. The area can be used again after around 12 hours.
Resin and hardener are mixed, poured over the granite aggregate and worked into an open black mortar, which is then filled into the hole and compacted with a tamper. Once cured it forms a firm, black, slip-resistant surface suitable for forklifts and heavily trafficked areas. Rough holes need no primer; on smooth substrates WATCO recommends its bonding primer.
