Epoxyguard Hygiene Beste Formel (sold in the UK as Epoxy Gloss Coat Hygienic) is the hygienic version of WATCO's water-based 2-pack epoxy floor coating Epoxyguard. Once fully cured, it is also suitable for areas where food is processed or stored (manufacturer data).
The coating gives a smooth, slightly glossy surface that is easy to clean and resists oil, solvents and strong cleaning chemicals. It is virtually odourless, so it can be used in small or poorly ventilated rooms, and tools clean up with water. Apply by roller to concrete, wood or well-bonded existing coatings, including over underfloor heating up to 30 °C surface temperature. Thanks to fast drying, two coats can be applied in one day. Note: not fully plasticiser resistant.
