Epoxyguard Safe Coarse (sold in the UK as Safety Coat Coarse) is the coarser version of WATCO's water-based anti-slip epoxy coating. It is intended for areas where the fine standard texture is not enough: spots where liquids regularly reach the floor, ramps or transitions with a high fall risk. The manufacturer quotes slip resistance R12 to DIN 51130.
The pre-blended aggregate gives an even, medium-textured finish; according to the manufacturer the coating is additionally reinforced with very hard wax and ceramic. It dries quickly, so two coats in one day are possible. It is applied to concrete and wood, including over existing paint; on very smooth substrates the manufacturer recommends Premium Special Primer.

Not fully plasticiser resistant according to the manufacturer. Where easier cleaning matters more, the finer Epoxyguard Safe is the better fit.
The slip resistance rating is manufacturer data from a standardised test method. Whether the surface is sufficient for your specific work area depends on contamination, moisture and use, and should be assessed as part of your risk assessment.
