Epoxyguard Safe (sold in the UK as Safety Coat) is a water-based 2-pack epoxy coating from WATCO with fine, pre-blended anti-slip aggregate. It suits sites that want to make slip-prone concrete floors in warehouses, production or workshops safer without working with solvent-borne systems. Because it dries quickly, the manufacturer states that both coats can be applied in one day.
The fine texture gives grip but stays easy to clean – a sensible balance for floors that are cleaned regularly. The coating bonds to concrete and wood, including previously painted surfaces; on very smooth substrates the manufacturer recommends Premium Special Primer. Besides the standard colours, Platinum Grey is also available in a 15 l pack.

The slip resistance rating is manufacturer data from a standardised test method. Whether the surface is sufficient for your specific work area depends on contamination, moisture and use, and should be assessed as part of your risk assessment.
