Epoxyschicht Chemikalienresistent (sold in the UK as Resiflow Chemical Grade) is a self-levelling epoxy floor coating from WATCO for concrete floors under heavy mechanical and chemical load – for example forklift traffic combined with spilled fuels, oils or cleaners. Instead of several coats of paint, it creates a seamless layer around 1.5 mm thick in a single operation.
The material is mixed, poured and spread with a squeegee; it then levels itself, and trapped air is released with a spiked roller. The thick layer hides minor surface irregularities. According to the manufacturer it resists cleaning agents, petrol, diesel, xylene, methylated spirit, white spirit, bleach, antifreeze, mineral oils and sugar and salt solutions. It is applied to concrete and to well-bonded, abraded existing coatings; please check the data sheet for whether a primer is needed on your substrate.
