WATCO Express Beschichtung (sold in the UK as Fastcoat) is a two-pack polyaspartic floor coating for sites where every hour of downtime counts. According to the manufacturer, the second coat can follow after around 2 hours at 20 °C, so cleaning, preparation and coating can be done in a single day. Light traffic is possible after about 6 hours.
A major advantage in winter: according to the manufacturer the coating can be applied at temperatures from -10 °C to +25 °C – including unheated halls, loading bays and cold stores. It is abrasion, scratch and chemical resistant as well as UV and weather resistant, so it can be used indoors and out. Suitable for concrete, old asphalt, well-bonded existing paint, some metals and wood. The matching Express Primer is applied first; small holes can be filled beforehand with a fine epoxy filler.
