WATCO Flexicoat is a flexible 2-pack polyaspartic floor coating for floors that do not stay completely still: vibration from machinery, expansion and contraction caused by heat and moisture, or slight structural movement quickly crack rigid epoxy coatings. Flexicoat moves with the substrate while forming a waterproof, chemical-resistant protective layer – useful wherever liquids may leak.
The coating fills and bridges hairline cracks, which shortens preparation. It is scratch and UV resistant, helps suppress footfall noise and, according to the manufacturer, can be steam cleaned. It is applied with a short-pile roller to concrete, wood, metal and asphalt that is at least 6 months old, indoors and out, without primer. The low-solvent formula is almost odourless during application and, according to the manufacturer, can be applied at floor temperatures from -10 °C.
