WATCO Floor Paint Anti-Slip Best Formula (sold in the UK as Concrete Floor Paint Anti Slip) is the economical choice when large concrete areas in warehouses, factories or workshops need smartening up and making slip resistant at the same time. It is single-pack, used straight from the tin and dries quickly – ideal when floors are painted section by section while operations continue.
The polyurethane-enhanced formula contains a fine anti-slip aggregate that spreads evenly as it is rolled out. This gives a uniformly textured surface that, according to the manufacturer, is easier to clean than systems where grit is broadcast afterwards. The manufacturer quotes slip resistance R11 to DIN 51130, PTV 67 dry and 60 wet, plus oil resistance. Suitable for concrete, previously painted concrete, wood and metal – no primer needed.

For areas with heavy wet, oily or forklift traffic, the 2-pack systems Epoxygrip or ArmourGrip are the tougher choice.
The slip resistance rating is manufacturer data from a standardised test method. Whether the surface is sufficient for your specific work area depends on contamination, moisture and use, and should be assessed as part of your risk assessment.
