Flowpatch Unter Null is the frost-grade version of WATCO's pourable concrete repair mortar for floors in cold stores, freezer rooms, walk-in chillers and unheated outdoor areas. When mixed with water the formula generates its own heat and, according to the manufacturer, can be used down to −10 °C. Damage in cold areas can be repaired without switching off refrigeration or moving stock out.
The mortar is mixed with water, poured and needs very little finishing. According to the manufacturer it takes traffic after about 2 hours at 20 °C or 5 hours at −10 °C, and can be placed 50 mm thick at −10 °C. It has low shrinkage, high resistance to frost and de-icing salts, and suits concrete and sand-cement screeds. Important: frozen substrates must be thawed first, minimum depth is 10 mm and repair edges should be cut square.
