WATCO Heavy-Duty Anti-Slip Asphalt Paint (sold in the UK as Heavy Duty Anti Slip Traffic Paint) is designed for outdoor areas used by pedestrians and vehicles alike: walkways across yards, crossings on site, car parks, ramps and loading zones. It colours, marks and adds slip resistance in one operation – usually one coat is enough.
It is a solvent-based 2-pack epoxy with the anti-slip aggregate mixed in before application, giving an even, fine texture without a separate broadcasting step. The paint bonds without primer to asphalt, road surfaces, concrete, paving and brick, and according to the manufacturer is UV resistant and suitable for heavy traffic. Concrete moisture should be below 75% RH.
