WATCO Tankwall-Versiegelung (sold in the UK as Bund Sealer) is a thick, glass-reinforced 2-pack epoxy coating for sealing bunds, tank enclosures and containers so they are liquid-tight and chemical resistant. One coat is usually enough to create a waterproof barrier against petrol, diesel, acids, alkalis and solvents (manufacturer data).
The coating stays flexible and bridges the joint between bund wall and floor; combined with glass-fibre reinforcing tape, cracks and junctions can be secured further. It can be used indoors and outdoors and applied to damp substrates – for the best impermeability the surface should be as dry as possible, though. On metal, loose rust must be removed, but the surface does not have to be completely rust-free. No primer is required.
