It lowers the temperature at the point of contact and forms a silicone-free non-stick layer on the abrasive. Alu Grinding Protection prevents "smearing" and the pores of the abrasive remain open. Alu Grinding Protection considerably extends the service life of a grinding disc, and the removal rate can be increased by up to 350%. WEICON Alu Grinding Protection can be used with all abrasives on backings such as fibre discs, sheets, endless sanding belts, sanding sleeves, orbital sanders and special machines.
