WEICON Aluminium Paint can be used universally on all metallic surfaces. It offers good corrosion protection and is also used to enhance the appearance of components. On contact with moisture, aluminium pigments form a dense, almost impermeable oxide layer on the surface. This passivating layer can be up to 0.05 µm thick and prevents further penetration of moisture into the coating. The surface of the workpiece is thus effectively protected against corrosion. High abrasion resistance and a long colour guarantee are achieved by using so-called "non-leafing" pigments. After application, these pigments are distributed evenly throughout the entire coating. As a result, once fully cured, WEICON Aluminium Paint is protected against abrasion and chemical influences.
