WEICON Casting Resin MS 1000 is a transparent and very free-flowing epoxy resin system with high mechanical strength. It is suitable for a wide range of applications. MS 1000 adheres well to metal, wood, rigid foams and many plastics. It can be used for large-area bonding or for laminating composite threaded bushings and screws. Due to its very low viscosity, the epoxy resin system is also very well suited for potting electrical components. It can be used in the production of fibre composites, tool and mould making, the electrical industry, mechanical engineering and many other industrial sectors. MS 1000 shows good wetting and penetration of glass fabric and is therefore well suited for laminating glass, aramid and carbon fibres to produce fibre-reinforced parts. It can also easily be mixed with various fillers (powder, fibre and fabric).
