WEICON Easy-Mix S 50 yellow is a highly reactive potting compound which, thanks to its strong adhesion and fast curing, can also be used as an adhesive. The epoxy resin system, high-temperature resistant up to +180 °C, is viscous, self-levelling and cures quickly and impact-resistant. The potting compound has a short pot life of 4-5 minutes. The compound adheres very well to a wide variety of surfaces, such as metal, plastics, glass-fibre-reinforced plastics, wood, glass, ceramics and stone. In electronics, the potting compound serves to protect electronic components, semiconductors and assemblies. It protects the components against moisture, dust and dirt as well as mechanical stress. Easy-Mix S 50 yellow is suitable for applications in various areas, such as potting work in the electrical engineering and electronics industry, potting cable connections, work in insulation technology, metal construction, tank and apparatus construction, valve manufacturing and ventilation and air-conditioning technology. Thanks to its striking yellow colour, Easy-Mix S 50 yellow makes visual inspection easier. The potting compound is processed with the user-friendly Easy-Mix system. The Easy-Mix D 50 dispensing gun is required for processing Easy-Mix products in 50 ml packs.
