Semi-automatic tool for fast and safe stripping of the finest conductors, strands or wires with small diameters in the range of 0.12 mm - 0.8 mm (36 - 20 AWG). The tool has been tested by an ESD laboratory and complies with the standard DIN EN 61340-5-1. The stripping tool is suitable for working in electrostatically protected areas (ESD workstation/ESD protected area). With the adjustable, scaled length stop in the working range from 5 to 45 millimetres, the desired stripping length can be set quickly and reliably. Two durable, precisely adjusted torsion springs ensure comfortable work; they act symmetrically on the pair of blades with a defined force and automatically cut the respective insulation with the appropriate pressure. In combination with the sensing system integrated into the tool, damage-free stripping is ensured. The tool is suitable for both right- and left-handed users.
