With the 4in1 Cable Knife F&R, all common flat and round cables can be stripped of their sheathing quickly, precisely and safely. The tool was designed for flat cables up to a width of 18 mm and for round cables up to a diameter of 13 mm. Thanks to the cable guide on the head of the tool, longitudinal cuts – especially over longer distances – are very easy to make. The longitudinal cuts can be made on both flat and round cables. Below the cable guide there is a rotatable inner blade. As with all WEICON TOOLS cable knives, this blade can be used to make both circular and longitudinal cuts on round cables (from 6 to 13 mm) in one step. A lockable adjusting wheel allows the blade depth to be conveniently and precisely set in steps of 0.1 mm up to 3 mm. This prevents damage to deeper layers. Two further blades have been fitted at the foot of the handy tool. These are used for parallel scoring of the outer sheath or insulation. This allows the outer sheath to be easily removed even in very confined spaces, such as junction boxes or cable ducts. The special design of the tool allows sheathing removal over longer distances on both the head and the foot side. Flat cables up to 18 mm wide and round cables up to 13 mm in diameter can simply be guided through the tool. An additional stripping function has been accommodated on the lower side of the tool housing. This allows all common flexible and solid conductors with a cross-section between 0.5 and 6 square millimetres to be stripped.
