WEICON GMK 2510 is a 2-component contact adhesive based on polychloroprene, developed for full-surface, permanently elastic and high-strength joints. It is ideal for bonding rubber, metal, textiles, leather, cellular rubber (neoprene) and CSM (Hypalon) to each other or to materials such as wood and stone. Compared to 1-component adhesives, it offers superior adhesion and higher temperature resistance. After curing, the joints are moisture-resistant and durable, making it ideal for demanding applications in industry, the trades and maintenance. Typical applications • Bonding and repairing conveyor belts in mining and industry • Attaching rubber profiles and seals to metal housings in mechanical engineering • Repairing cracks in rubber boots, tyres or neoprene suits • Full-surface bonding of insulation materials to metal substrates • Attaching rubber buffers and vibration dampers to installations • Bonding leather to aluminium or stainless steel components • Repairing inflatable boats made of rubber fabric or CSM (Hypalon) • Fitting textile coverings in vehicles or in trade fair construction WEICON GMK 2510 is not suitable for materials such as polystyrene foam, polyethylene, polypropylene parts, soft PVC foam and PVC artificial leather.
