Assembly Tape Grey is a strongly adhering, double-sided adhesive tape made of modified acrylate foam. The tape is particularly suitable for joining parts with low surface energy, such as PE and PP, and for powder-coated surfaces. In combination with WEICON adhesives and sealants, it can serve as a fixing aid for hybrid bonding. The tape has high flexibility to optimally compensate for any stresses in curved bonds. It can be used for permanent bonding both indoors and outdoors. The adhesive tape has a temperature resistance of -40 °C to +120 °C and is UV- and moisture-resistant. The grey Assembly Tape can be used in various fields of application, such as body and vehicle engineering, the caravanning sector, metal and apparatus construction, the electronics industry, mechanical engineering, sign-making and shipbuilding and boat engineering.
