WEICON Silicon LP is an acetate-curing, permanently elastic adhesive and sealant. It is resistant to chemicals, ageing, weathering and UV radiation and has high temperature resistance up to +180 °C (+356 °F). It adheres very well to steel, aluminium, glass, plastics and many other materials. Silicon LP was specially developed for use in sensitive areas. It is used for sealing in the food and drinking water sectors, for example in dairies, slaughterhouses, beverage and food production or in commercial kitchens. Tested by the Hygiene Institute of the Ruhr Area in accordance with the KTW guideline of the German Environment Agency.
