The epoxy resin system WEICON WL is used for coating stressed surfaces. It has high adhesive strength, particularly on stainless steel. It is liquid, sprayable, brushable (can be processed with a brush), self-levelling, has residual elasticity, is ceramic-filled and chemical-resistant. Thanks to its long working time, WEICON WL can be used for applications at higher ambient temperatures or for larger surfaces. Due to its high flowability, attention must be paid to a low layer thickness and the recoat time when processing WEICON WL. WEICON WL is well suited for a system build-up in combination with other Plastic Steel types. For example, the 2-component epoxy resin can serve as a primer when lining heavily stressed stainless steel pump housings. The surface coating can be used in wastewater technology, on pumps, in water conveyance, mechanical and plant engineering, apparatus engineering and many other areas of industry.
