WEICON Zinc Spray bright grade is TÜV-tested, provides all metal surfaces with permanent cathodic corrosion protection and has a light colour matched to fresh hot-dip galvanising. It forms a fast-drying, firmly adhering protective layer of micro-fine zinc flakes. The zinc flakes form a resistant protective layer even against extreme weather and environmental influences. In the salt spray test according to DIN EN ISO 9227, metal parts coated with Zinc Spray bright grade showed no corrosion whatsoever even after more than 550 hours. WEICON Zinc Spray bright grade can be used for coating weld and drill points, as a conductive intermediate layer in spot welding and wherever metal needs to be protected against corrosion. Zinc Spray bright grade is based on ASTM A780 as a repair coating for hot-dip galvanised surfaces.
