This needle felt carpet tile is made for representative, high-traffic areas: open-plan offices, administration buildings, schools and meeting zones where many people walk and office chairs roll every day. The dense, mottled wear layer of polypropylene and polyamide is flat and hard-wearing; the tiles reach the highest commercial use class 33 and reaction to fire class Bfl-s1.
The special feature is the backing, which contains neither PVC nor bitumen. Together with the thick wear layer it delivers an impact sound reduction of 21 dB according to the manufacturer – considerably more than many thin commercial floorings. For projects with sustainability targets: according to the manufacturer, this quality carries the German Blue Angel eco label for low-emission textile floor coverings.

Frequently asked questions
Is the flooring suitable for office chairs with castors?
Yes. According to the manufacturer it is suitable for continuous castor chair use. Textile floors call for hard castors (type H to EN 12529); soft castors are intended for hard floors.
How are the carpet tiles installed?
On a dry, level and clean subfloor, usually with a slip-resistant tackifier instead of adhesive. The tiles stay firmly in place but can still be replaced individually, for example on busy walkways.
What is the minimum order and how do I get a quote?
The minimum order is 200 m² per colour and quality. Send us the area, colour number and delivery location and you will receive a quotation including lead time and suitable installation material. Samples are available on request.
How much material should I order?
Add around 3–5 % waste to the measured area depending on the room layout; more for many corners, columns or diagonal laying. A few spare tiles for later repairs are useful.
